Oct 21, 2017· Being in a new house and a new stove all my wood I have now is too wet. We have been heating exclusively with NIELS and homefire prest logs. Personally I prefer the NIELS. With the prest logs I can get 7-9 hours of heat but at the end of that the stove top temp is at 280 or so but I can get new logs to light relatively easy.
